Murray Lott

Murray Lott is the owner of Delta Law Office as well as a Certified Senior Advisor, and so is informed in the health, social, and financial aspects of aging. He has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia since 1981, and is currently a member of West Coast Environmental Law. As well, he is a Past President and current member of the local Tsawwassen Rotary Club. Murray obtained a Bachelor of Science at UBC in 1977 and a Bachelor of Laws at UBC in 1980 and recently started the Delta arm of Access Pro Bono in 2010.

Last year, Murray took a break from his law practice during the exciting month of February to volunteer in Whistler for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. His job was "course slipping", which means to flatten out the skiing courses that have been rutted up by the professional skiers. He met a number of volunteers, athletes and visitors from around the world. Murray is also fluent in Spanish so was able to converse with a number of the visitors and finds it helpful when he travels to Cuba, Mexico, and Europe. He recently returned from a bike tour through France with his brother, where he enjoyed seeing the sights and making new friends along the way. If you travel around the world, you might see Murray, as he loves to travel and experience the history and flavour of other countries.

Murray is very active in his community, with his Rotary club and the Delta Law Office, and recently has enjoyed arranging office social events such as get-togethers to watch the Canucks during the playoff series.
